Certificate Of Conformity Program
The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) was established pursuant to the Royal Decree No. M/10 dated 16th of April, 1972 as a body of judicial personality.
The Certificate of Conformity Program is in line with the Saudi’s future vision for Quality 2020 program, through which SASO aims to improve and develop the quality of products.
Who Needs Certificate of Conformity
Any company supplying goods and products to Saudi Arabia, including electrical, petroleum, toys, textile, construction building material, car spare parts and much more
A physical inspection of goods is carried out such as labelling requirements and packaging conditions. TUV Austria reviews all information and documentation provided and checks their adequacy against Saudi Standards. Laboratory testing/analysis are conducted on samples if necessary.

Saudi Quality Mark
The Quality Mark is a new certificate introduced by SASO in the market with better and enhanced benefits and paybacks.
Saudi Quality Mark is meant to support the national economy and increase Saudi exports. It means the product complies with its Saudi standard and general technical quality regulations. This definitely proves that the company has effective Quality Management System.
SASO IECEE Certificate
International Electro-technical Commission for Electro-technical Components & Equipment
Saudi Standards, Metrology & Quality Organization (SASO) is a representative of Saudi Arabia in the international conformity scheme (IECEE) and it acts as a Saudi National Certification Body (SNCB).
Ten Good Reasons to Choose
Every consignment of imported goods (regulated products) must be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity in order to clear any shipment at Saudi customs. TUV Austria is approved and authorized as a Certification Body (CB) by SASO for issuing Conformity Certificates.
Being a key element of quality control, Product Inspections allow you to verify product quality on site at different stages of the production process and prior to its dispatch. Inspecting your product before it leaves the manufacturer’s premises is an effective way of preventing quality problems and supply chain disruptions further down the line.
Why Get a Product Inspection?
In today’s global market, manufacturers, retailers and importers must be mindful of product quality and safety requirements of their target markets. Failure to do so results in costly product recalls, legal issues, and reputational damage.
